Untitled. A home-made peep-show, approximately 550mm long, with 1828 watermark, made up of 9 scenes, each with a water-coloured foliage frame supporting a large assemblage of scrap and cut-out illustrations, mostly hand-coloured. Card covers (115 x 152mm), decorated with scraps on front and a water-colour picture on back, with dentated gilt edging. A & M 125. -- With a mahogany box with sliding lid (105 x 75 x 44mm) containing 85 bone counters, each approximately 12 x 7mm, with engraved letters picked out in black, capitals on one side, lower case on the reverse. The lid has an inset bone title-piece: "Spelling Alphabet".
