engraving, 1526, a clear Meder a impression, watermark Crowned Shield with Initial L and two Fleurs-de-Lys with pendant initial B (M. 314), trimmed to the edge of the subject on three sides and approx. 4mm. into the subject at the right, the upper half of the tablet on the wall replaced with blank paper, two repaired tears at the right sheet edge, one extending from Erasmus' left shoulder to the book lower right, some pale discolouration, otherwise generally in good condition, framed
