etching, circa 1603, watermark Crown with a Star and a Crescent (H. 1129, circa 1565), a strong impression of this rare print, the usual uneven areas in the broken palings in the foreground and in the roof of the farmhouse, trimmed just outside the borderline, a tiny loss at the upper right edge, a few printer's creases at the left sheet edge, one or two foxmarks, the remains of old tape at the upper reverse sheet edge
