ethings with burnished aquatint, drypoint and engraving, 1799, the set of 80, from the First Edition of about 300 copies, published by the artist, Madrid, on fine, laid paper, fine and early impressions, printed in warm sepia brown ink, with the scratch on plate 45, with margins, pls. 2, 26 and 42-3 with short repaired tears in the margins, pl. 4 with a small made-up loss in the lower right margin, pl. 9 with a repaired tear extending across the sheet, pl. 31 with the lower right corner re-attached, backed, pl. 33 with a small rubbed area below the title, pl. 62 with a printer's crease extending from the lower margin into the subject, pl. 65 with a repaired tear in the right margin extending fractionally into the subject, some foxing, the earliest plates with some slight surface dirt, one of a few copies bound for Goya, according to Harris, in Spanish mottled leather, with title and author's name impressed in gilt on red leather on spine
