engraving, 1530, second state (of four), with the initial L and the original contour of Adam's foot clearly visible, a very good impression, watermark Gothic P (Holl. 25 wmk, dated 1508-1530), with thread margins on three sides, trimmed on the platemark at the right, two old vertical folds mainly noticeable on the reverse, a small surface loss above Eve's right arm, a few touches of pen and ink along the platemark, slight staining, generally in good condition
