Everton won the Championship with 53 points, Huddersfield Town being Runners-Up on 51 points. Season 1927-28 saw Everton win the Championship for the third time in their history. It is however, probably better remembered as being the season when Dean scored his record 60 league goals. This medal is being sold with a letter of provenance.
