etching, 1879, on laid paper, fifth state (of seven), with the remarque, a fine impression, with a carefully wiped tone, lightening the foreground at left and right, the sky, and the lights from the windows, but leaving the central part of the village and the hills in deep shadow, signed in pencil, numbered 26, from the edition of 60 published by the Fine Art Society, London, with margins, one or two small losses at the extreme sheet edges, otherwise generally in good condition
