Set with 22 foil-backed amethysts; stamped with the hallmarks of Rome and Vincenzo II Belli; the base inscribed 'PRAY FOR THE DONOR' and 'CHURCH OF ST FRANCIS XAVIER DUBLIN. SEPTEMBER 1857'.
Glass from the hinged door at the reverse of the monstrance lacking; very minor losses and repairs.
