A drawing by the same hand was sold in these Rooms, 21 November 1967, lot 47, illustrated, as Attributed to Santi di Tito. Mario di Giampaolo proposed an attribution to Bernardino Campi and dates it to his period in Reggio Emilia, 1580-5.
