Lot Essay

Marucelli studied with Boscoli, and painted a self-portrait for the Uffizi, an altarpiece of the Ascension in the church of the Sacrament, Pistoia, and in 1626 a picture of Abraham and the Angel for the Duomo in his native city, Pisa.
