An oak settle, the arched top rail carved with portrait masks and panels of stylised vine leaves, above four foliate carved panels, one bearing the initials TM and the date 1708, and five further panels, one stamped with the initial IP, the later padded seat flanked by down scrolled armrests, above a bi-panelled front, on moulded square supports, early 18th Century, restored and re-railed, 76 3/4ins wide (195cms)
