A Victorian burr walnut ebonised, boxwood and harewood inlaid side cabinet, the rectangular D-shaped top, above a gilt metal mounted frieze, centred by a panel of a winged helmet issuing acanthus scrolls, above a pair of panelled cupboard doors, centred by oval Serves style panels, in ribbon tied moulded foliate frames, flanked on either side by bowed glazed doors, enclosing shelves, divided by turned and fluted columns, mounted with gilt drapery swags, on a plinth base ending in turned and fluted supports, bearing the stamp Lamb, Manchester, 78ins wide (198cms)
