Everton won the Championship with 56 points, Arsenal being runners-up on 54 points. An identical medal awarded to "Dixie" Dean was sold in these rooms, lot 122, 9th October 1991.
Charles William Gee, joined Everton in July 1930 for #3000 from Stockport County. A strong centre-half, he sadly missed out on appearing in the Cup-winning side of 1933 due to a cartilage operation. Gee appeared for England on three occasions against Wales and Spain in 1932 and against Ireland in 1937
