A similar bound volume of programmes appeared on the market a few years ago. However, this particular copy is from a different private source. Though the volume contains 48 programmes, it would appear, from the tables provided at the back of each programme, that the Liverpool 1st and 2nd teams played only 46 home matches this season. The following points may therefore be of interest to prospective buyers.
1. The match v. Newcastle United on 8th April 1893, is listed as an away match. There is a programme in the volume for that date between Preston North End and Bootle.
2. The match v. Bootle is listed in the tables as taking place on the 18th April. The front of the programme is dated 17th April.
3. The Rest of the League v. Champions match of 28th April, an away
match, appears as a home programme.
4. The 2nd team's match v. St. Cuthberts on 10th April is listed as a home game. This programme is not there.
