A ROMAN BRONZE STATUETTE OF HERAKLES, standing looking to his right, with weight on right leg and left knee flexed, naked save for a lion pelt which is draped over his crooked left arm, his right hand held out, with thick wavy beard and hair in which is tied a fillet with two broad curling ribbons which fall down on to his shoulders, recent silver eye and nipple inlays, mounted, circa 1st Century B.C./A.D.
