The moulded rectangular hinged top with chequerbanded rim inlaid with scrolling arabesques within a featherbanded border centred by a figure holding a lute, enclosing a plain interior with a compartment, the front decorated conformingly, the sides with carrying handles within a scrolling arabesque cartouche, minor losses to the inlays, lacking feet
