A pair of Dutch walnut open armchairs
Late 17th Century
Each with a high padded rectangular back and seat covered in close nailed floral petit point upholstry, the downswept arms and arm-supports richly carved with acanthus, on ring-turned legs joined to the front by a stretcher carved with scrolling acanthus and centred by a scallop, with a conforming H-stretcher on bun feet, restorations and replacements to the embroidery, restorations and replacements to the stretchers (2)
