Maker's mark indistinct, Amsterdam, late 18th Century; also struck with Dutch without payment of duty mark (1807-1810) and tax mark for locally made silverware (1893-1906); the second one with an apparently unmarked shank, The Netherlands, late 18th Century, the maker's mark of the handle Cornelis Rietveld, Schoonhoven, late 19th Century
The first with a deer handle and a plain tapering shank with an octagonal finial with seal; the second with a rocking horse handle (not well fitted into shank) and a baluster shell and scroll shank
