Finely painted in vivid enamels with song-birds in flight or perched on two branches of plum blossom issuing from rockwork, all below a narrow diaper-and floral-pattern band encircling the shoulder, the flat cover painted with insects hovering above flowering peony, surrounded to the sides by trailing flower-sprays, one cover restored, small chips
