A set of four Dutch elmwood chairs
Zeeland, mid 18th Century
Comprising two armchairs and two side chairs, each with channelled frame, the padded back and bow-fronted seat covered in blue and yellow floral silk, the arched toprail centred by a stylised flower-head and flanked by scrolling foliage, the seat-rail decorated conformingly, on cabriole legs headed by acanthus and terminating in scroll feet, probably originally painted (4)
