Circa 1765 - 1770
The pierced frame carved with a variety of shells and flowers, the arched cresting centred by a bold asymetrical scallop shell flanked by rockwork and C-scrolls, above a rising panel decorated in gros and petit-point needlework with amorous youths, the sides with pierced scrolls above a scrolling apron centred by rockwork, on cabriole legs terminating in claw feet
