The rectangular case modelled with a female youth and with a bookcase surmounted by a drum case cast with acanthus, the circular white-enamelled Roman dial with blued steel moon hands, the movement with silk-suspended pendulum, on a stepped plinth with foliate rim and on tapering feet, with foundry marks FEV to the interior
