The twin barrel movement with matted platform lever escapement with bimetallic balance, strike/repeat/alarm on gong on the backplate, the enamelled dial with scrolling lines and flower-heads and with matted gilt Roman chapter ring with blued steel hands, with subsidiary alarm ring below signed Hamilton Crichton & Co/Paris, the sides inlaid conformingly, the case engraved with zigzag lines and foliage, the stepped top engraved with flower-heads and push repeat (lacking button)
