Of typical form, with pierced frets to the bellstand, the foliate engraved dial plate and alarm-disc with silvered Roman chapter ring, single steel hand,surmounted by a pierced fret signed Thomas Knifton en Lothbury, the twin train movement with balance escapement and countwheel strike, later alarm and balance wheel
