A poluchrome-painted and parcel-gilt watch-stand
German or Austrian, 18th Century
The foliate bezel hung with a laurel swag above a figure of father time holding an hourglass, on a seperately carved moulded plinth base, and a pocket watch - 30.5cm. high; And a green-painted carved wood watch-stand, surmounted by a grotesque mask flanked by ball finials (one lacking) and issuing a foliate swag, on stylised S-shaped legs and a stepped moulded plinth base, and a pocket watch, the back legs missing - 24.5cm. high (4)
