A Dutch mahogany and marquetry display-cabinet
18th Century, altered circa 1900
Inlaid overall with various flowers, scrolling foliage and C-scrolls, the waved arched moulded rectangular cornice centred by a later bracket carved with rockwork, scrolling foliage and flower-heads, flanked by a later conformingly carved clasp, above a pair of glass panelled doors and chamfered sides, enclosing a blue velvet-lined interior with three shaped shelves, flanked by turned fluted pilasters, the bombé base with three graduated drawers, above a shaped apron, on claw-and-ball feet, minor losses
