cover 1/- purple-slate with perforations on two sides plus pin-perf. 13½-14 (1d.) rose-red pair (left stamp crossed by crease) with perforations in places, both tied by "1" obliterator on 1860 (23 Nov.) pale yellow envelope to Germany, marked "Via France", showing red crayon "1/1", Crowned circle "PAID/AT/TRINIDAD", oval-framed "PD" and Calais entry c.d.s.
