The circular enamel and ormolu dial with Roman and Arabic chapters, the movement rel-going with silk-suspended pendulum and strike on the hour and half hour on a bell, within a glazed case mounted with rocaille scrolls, flowering vines and strapwork, surmounted by a seated infant with arm raised and holding a dove with the other hands, on Greek-key feet with pomegranite finials, on a similarly decorated waisted bracket
