Tibet, 19th Century
Painted in concentric circles and squares upon a green inner ground and blue outer ground depicting Mahavairocana at center surrounded by various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas seated in aureoles in a lotus petal formation on a four-color ground extending out towards the cardinal directions, the square structures with temple banners highlighted in gold surrounded by small figures, parasols and amrita vases further encircled by a lotus frieze, 82 deities, a vajra border and flaming lotus scrolls, mounted in a silk brocade
