Set against a dark blue ground, both figures richly clad in pearls and translucent costumes highlighted in gold with floral details and small flowers in various colors growing at their feet, the figure on right holding a small gold cup; the painting mounted on a salmon colored album page with finely painted border of floral sprays painted in gold and a larger floral border forming interlacing oval roundels with poppies at center and outer blue border
