A carved oak armchair of Carolean design, the top rail carved with the Royal Cypher, above a gros point needlework padded panel worked with fleur-de-lys and flanked on either side by a further pierced panel carved with stylised female figures supporting shields, engraved with the initials IR, supported by scrolling acanthus and further foliage, the similar gros point needlework upholstered seat flanked by moulded foliate carved down-scrolled armrests, on turned baluster and foliate carved block supports joined by pierced foliate carved front stretcher
