A mahogany and brass lined longcase clock, the arched and moulded cornice above an acanthus carved frieze fitted with a walnut and harewood inlaid glazed door, enclosing a brass dial with silvered chapter ring and subsidiary seconds and date dials, inscribed W. Morrison of Edinburgh and fitted with a mechanical nautical scene to the arch, the case fitted with a moulded rectangular trunk door flanked by turned demi-column angles, headed by gilt metal portrait busts, the panelled base on gilt metal splayed bracket feet, 91ins (213cms) high
