A purse or reticule with spot motifs of trees and Tudor roses and a raised work peapod and strawberry on one side, the other with flame stitch and other patterns, and an unusual row of samples of buttonhole stitch, 9 x 7in. (23 x 18cm), early 17th Century but possibly made up later (slightly worn)
