A Scottish inverted pear shaped tea kettle, stand and lamp, richly chased and embossed with fruiting vines, flowerheads and foliage, the domed cover with reeded fruitwood finial and raffia-bound folding scroll handle, engraved with crest and arms of Threipland within rocaille cartouche, the stand with scroll supports and shell feet with foliage pierced and embossed apron, by Dougal Ged, Edinburgh, 1760, weight 78oz., 14½in.
