A William IV two-handled fluted campana shaped cup and cover on spreading circular foot and square base, chased with a band of laurel and entwined foliage, the lower body richly chased and embossed with thistles and foliage issuing bark textured entwined handles, terminating in oak leaves and acorns, the shaped everted border chased with flower heads and scrolls, domed fluted cover with foliate baluster finial, engraved with the arms of Threipland, on square pedestal chased with bands of acanthus foliage, by Messrs Barnard, 1837, weight 230oz., 27in. (68.5cm) high.
