A late Victorian mahogany, boxwood and harewood inlaid longcase clock, the broken pediment fitted with an arched glazed, satinwood crossbanded door, enclosing a brass dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and chime dial to the arch, inscribed Robertson and Watt, Dundee, the case fitted with an arched rectangular trunk door inlaid with bell husks, ribbon-ties and musical trophies, flanked by canted fluted angles, the panelled base on ogee bracket feet, 93ins (236cms) high
