A late Victorian giltwood firescreen of George III style fitted with a green ground silk damask panel worked with a basket of flowers, surrounded by a ribbon tie and foliage, the moulded frame carved with panels of laurel leaves and acanthus foliage, the sides with bands of guilloche, on similarly carved bar feet, with acanthus scrolled toes, 28½in. (72.5cm.) wide; 43in. (109cm.) high
