An Empire mantel clock, the movement striking on a single bell, in gilt-brass case, the dial enclosed by an acanthus cast border flanked by laurel wreaths and quivers containing arrows joined by flowerhead chains, surmounted by a seated classical figure playing a lyre, his feet resting on a stool and a stylised musical trophy to one side, the stepped rectangular base cast with flowerhead chains, ribbon ties and musical trophies to the frieze, on milled feet, 20ins (51cms) high
