A treacle-glazed Cadogan teapot of conventional type, the spout and handle moulded with peach and flower terminals enriched in gilding, the body richly gilt with an Oriental holding a parason in a wooded vigniette, the reverse with the initials JM in a flower cartouche, circa 1840
