This cap represents the European Championship Qualifying match v Bulgaria at Wembley on 22nd November 1979 when England won 2-0. The cap also represents Kennedy's participation in the subsequent European Championships of 1980 when England were held to a 1-1 draw against Belgium in Turin on 12th June 1980. The match against Italy, again in Turin, was Kennedy's last International appearance and ended in 1-0 win for Italy.
