The above jersey and shorts were worn by Nicol Smith in the historic Scotland v. England International, 1900, when the Scots defeated England 4-1.

"I have never seen my colours so well sported since Ladas won the Derby." These were the words of Lord Rosebery to the Scotland Captain Jacky Robertson after the match against England at Celtic Park on 7th April, 1900. The goal scorers for the Scots that day were Bob McColl (3) and Jack Bell
