A late Victorian carved oak longcase clock, the moulded and dentilled cornice above a rectangular glazed door enclosing an engraved brass dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, inscribed William Nicholson, Whitehaven, the case fitted with a foliate-carved arched rectangular trunk door flanked by canted fluted demi-column angles, the similar base with shaped apron on bracket feet, 84in.
