An early Georgian walnut bureau, with associated bookcase top, the double arched and moulded cornice fitted with a pair of arched bevelled mirrored doors, enclosing three shelves, and three short drawers above two candle-slides, the rectangular herringbone crossbanded fall-flap with moulded border, fitted with a bookrest, and enclosing an interior fitted with five short drawers, various pigeon holes and a well, the base fitted with two short above two long drawers, on a moulded plinth with bracket feet, restorations, 36in.
