A SET OF FOUR GEORGE II SILVER SECOND COURSE DISHES AND FOUR GEORGE III SILVER DISH COVERS
the dishes with maker's mark of Elizabeth Godfrey, London, 1751, the covers with maker's mark of Frederick Kandler, London, 1777

The dishes shaped-circular and with gadrooned borders, each engraved with a coat-of-arms, the circular plain domed covers with a gadrooned band and moulded reeded rim, with ring handle, each engraved with a crest, the dishes marked on reverses, the cover on rim, the dishes each engraved with numbers and scratch weights - the dishes 12in. (31cm.) diam., the covers 10in. (25cm.) diam.
