A PAIR OF GEORGE II SILVER MEAT DISHES AND A MAZZARINE
maker's mark of Elizabeth Godfrey, London, 1751, one dish 1759

The dishes shaped-oval and with gadrooned borders, the mazzarine pierced with foliate scrolls and diaperwork, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on reverses, one dish engraved with number, each with scratch weight - the dishes 17¾in. (45cm.), the mazzarine 14½in. (36.5cm.) long
