A George III two-handled boat-shaped centrepiece and stand, the dish on four foliage feet with shaped undertier, the pierced fluted body with four acanthus scroll supports, with laurel garlands between, with pierced rim and reed and tie borders, the oval stand with domed centre chased with demi-rosettes on a matted ground with two central quatrefoils and scrolled acanthus foliage handles with reed and tie border, both engraved with coat-of-arms and presentation inscription, by James Young, 1787, dish 17¼in.
