An Anglo-Indian padoukwood twin-pedestal desk, the rectangular top with egg and dart moulded border, above three frieze drawers, supported by two pedestals around the kneehole, each carved allover with trailing foliage and enclosing three long graduated drawers, flanked by turned and lotus-carved demi-column angles, the sides carved with further panels of interlaced foliage, on egg and dart moulded bases and lotus-carved bun feet, the reverse fitted with false drawers, 66ins (167.5cms) wide, 31ins (79cms) deep
