A Georgian mahogany longcase clock, the movement striking on a single bell, with floral-engraved brass dial and silvered chapter ring, silvered date dial to the centre and bearing a plaque inscribed Foden, Congleton, pierced acanthus-cast spandrels to the angles, the shaped and fluted pediment surmounted by three turned parcel-gilt ball finials, the glazed door flanked by fluted turned columns, the case fitted with a rectangular trunk door, on box base ending in bracket feet joined by a shaped apron, restorations, 82ins (208.5cms) high
