A mid-Victorian centre table of Louis XVI style, the rectangular burr-walnut and boxwood lined top with kingwood and tulipwood crossbanding and ormolu-mounted lotus-cast border, the frieze fitted with two crossbanded mahogany-lined drawers, fitted with secure lever locks and ormolu foliate-cast escutcheons, divided by an ormolu floral trelliswork and an acanthus-cast panel, on fluted tapering twin trestle-end supports and splayed bar feet mounted with further ormolu flowerheads and joined by a turned and fluted lotus-carved and crossbanded stretcher, 42ins (106.5cms) wide, 24ins (61cms) deep, 29ins (73.5cms) high
