the frosted gilt chain fusee movement wtih pierced and engraved cock depicting a swan and engraved scrollwork in high relief on matted background to the foot, decorative scrollwork to the pillars, diamond endstone, with dust cover, the later gold champlevé dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute divisions, foliate design to the centre on matt background, decorative gold hands, the fine repousse outer case with classical scene with five piece hinge, hand painted silk watch paper depicting a spray of flowers, with scroll and floral design signed MAN, the inner and outer cases with the casemaker's stamp JB, hallmarked London 1753, movement and dust cover signed and numbered - 50mm. diam.
